Description:   Students will have fun exploring art while learning the basics of drawing and painting. Skills will be loosely built upon previous ones while they discover how to use color in a variety of mediums such as crayon, marker, tempera and acrylic paint, oil pastel, and mixed media. 

Students will have the opportunity to showcase their work at the CHAT Christmas Celebration and Spring Showcase.

Note:  This class is 75 minutes long and has been prorated accordingly.

Tutor: Abbie Stewart has a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from North Central University with a double minor in Business Administration and Christian Studies. From a young age, she’s enjoyed all things creative: dance, music, acting, languages, and art. In her free time, she enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, songwriting, and serving on the worship team at church alongside her husband, Thomas. Through this class, she hopes to help her students find a love for creating and have fun while doing it!

Cost:  $194, $204 or $214 per semester (depending on registration date)
