Description: This course will start with the basics of waltz (a must for wedding dance survival). It will progress to east coast, west coast swing, and salsa. The class will finish with salsa rueda (a called dance). The students will have the option of performing a salsa rueda at the Spring Showcase night. This is a fun way to get some physical education credit! 

Note: This is a 60 minute class and the tuition will be prorated accordingly.

The class will perform at the CHAT Christmas Performance. ($5 has been added to the supply fee to help cover showcase expenses.)

The Christmas Performance is Thursday, December 14, 2019.

Tutor: Kim Nelson graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota with a degree in math. She and her husband, Dave, have been dancing together for over 15 years and are currently members of a salsa rueda performance team that has performed across the Metro area as well as in Wisconsin, Chicago, San Francisco, and Jamaica.
