You can expect FOUR mains things from this class:

  1. Let's be real, it's going to be a lot of FUN!!
  2. You 100% WILL get stronger.
  3. You will learn skills like programming and goal-setting that will benefit you in many aspects of life; &
  4. We will talk about some cool fitness-related science stuff along the way.

 Everybody's starting point may be different, but we will be setting and achieving personalized goals for each individual student.

Throughout the Semester we will have the following Thematic Elements:

  • A) Testing Fitness Levels, Building Core Strength and Improving Flexibility
  • B) Getting Fit for Sports and Functional Movement
  • C) Building Explosive Strength

 Each week we will get moving right away with a warm-up, get our sweat on, and then have at least a few minutes to cool down at the end of class.

Note:  New students are welcome to join at semester.

Tutor: Michael Nelson is a graduate of Bethel University's Biokinetics program with an emphasis in exercise science. He currently works as a personal trainer for adults and student athletes.  He is also the girls volleyball strength and agility coach for a local high school.  Mike has experience training adults, athletes of all ages and sports, and individuals with mental and physical disabilities. He has a huge heart for kids and youth.  He was the Bethel Buddies Coordinator while in college, working with inner city kids, and has been volunteering with the youth groups at his church for many years.  In his free time he enjoys working out, playing basketball, and spending time with his wife, Olivia.

Cost:   $142, $152 or $162 per semester (depending on registration date)
