High School World History
Tutor: Angela O'Dell
Email: angela.odell@chatclasses.com
Length: Full Year Class Period: Thursday, period 1

Description: This class will take your student on a whirlwind journey through the centuries of the world’s story. We will begin with the post-Babel dispersion of mankind and the establishment of nations on the face of earth and travel up through the Modern Era. Through observation, discussion, and exploration, your student will connect with the people whose lives make up the grand saga of our world’s history. They will contemplate cultural and worldview influences, scrutinize governmental involvements, and determine geography’s role in the rise and fall of major civilizations. The literature selections used in this class have been carefully chosen to add context and cultural richness to the study of history. Please contact me if your student needs reading modifications.

Note: New students are welcome to join at semester.
