Tutor: Stacey Sohn
Email: mail: Stacey.Sohn@CHATclasses.com
Length: Full Year Class Period: Thursday, period 1
Description: This course will guide your student chronologically through the history of the United States, highlighting key events, people, and places. We will explore the story of our country from the first European explorers to the present. We will study original documents and speeches because these allow the participants in history to tell the story from their own perspective.  We will also look at the overall story of American history through the eyes of faith, encouraging students to think about the faith lessons that they can learn from people and events in history.

Tutor: Stacey Sohn homeschooled both of her children through high school. She tutored junior high and high school students for six years with a local homeschool group. She has a passion to help children see the truth, beauty, and goodness in their education and that God can be found in every subject. Stacey lives in Victoria with her husband, two children, and two dogs.
