Description:  Explore Classes are like mini camps. They are short units designed to allow students to try new things for a short amount of time; whetting their curiosity to new ideas or activities – or circle back to something they really liked. Every semester offers a variety of subjects and activities.

2026-2027

Semester 1

  • NATURE ART: Crate unique art using flowers, leaves, sticks, and other natural materials while exploring creativity and the beauty of the world around us. (All projects will be new this year.)

  • KINDNESS AGENTS: Students become "Kindness Agents" on a mission to make the world a better place through games, teamwork, and hands-on service projects that put kindness into action.

  • CHRISTMAS SCHOOL: Celebrate the true meaning of Christmas through Christ-centered stories, festive activities, crafts, treats, and a joyful handbell performance at the end of the session.

Semester 2

  • SPACE ACADEMY: 10...9...8...Hold on! We're going to blast off into the heavens to see the beauty and wonder God has created in the heavens!

  • LEGO CHALLENGE: Similar to the TV show Lego Masters, students will be given a task to solve each week.

  • READERS THEATER: In this high-energy class, students will bring stories to life through expressive reading, building confidence, fluency, teamwork, and public speaking skills while having a blast performing for others.
