Description: The goal of this course is to build a strong foundation for success in high school by giving students meaningful practice in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will study the parts of speech, sentence patterns, and sentence diagramming, and analyze literature. We will concentrate on crafting effective sentences and paragraphs as the building blocks of short essays. 

Tutor: Stacey Sohn homeschooled both of her children through high school. She tutored junior high and high school students for six years with a local homeschool group. She has a passion to help children see the truth, beauty, and goodness in their education and that God can be found in every subject. Stacey lives in Victoria with her husband, two children, and two dogs.

Cost:  $259, $269, or $279 per semester (depending on registration date)
