If you are not sure if your student is ready for pre-algebra, please email Mrs. Campbell for help determining readiness. Tutor: Katie Campbell graduated with a degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Notre Dame. She then did graduate work in both mathematics and law at DePaul University before becoming a mom. As a student she had to write a paper on a "controversial topic in education". Her topic was homeschooling and led to her falling in love with the idea. Katie and her husband have homeschooled all five of their children, with two graduates and three still in the midst of the journey. She has enjoyed teaching her children arithmetic through pre-calc one-on-one and discovering each child's unique learning process. Katie has always loved math and through her years of teaching has gained an even deeper appreciation for algebra as a building block for the higher maths. The elegance of mathematics gives us insight into our Creator's mind and the fact that we can learn to understand a small part of it is such an amazing gift. Cost:
$245, $255, or $265 per semester (depending on registration date)
